Christopher's journey into the world of audio engineering is fueled by his dual interests: a deep appreciation for the art of music that comes from years of dedicated study, and a fascination with the technical intricacies of why things sound the way they do. He completed a dual major program at William Paterson University studying Sound Engineering Arts and Jazz Saxophone Performance.
In 2017, Christopher began working at Sound On Sound Studios new Montclair, NJ location, after the studio’s nearly 30 years tenure in Manhattan. In the fall of 2021, he began working at the world renown Jazz at Lincoln Center at Columbus Circle in New York City, joining veteran engineer Todd Whitelock. There, under direction of Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis, they are responsible for all in house recordings out of the Rose Theater, Appel Room, Dizzy’s Club, and the Varis-Leichtman Studio, broadcasts on the Jazz Live streaming service, and new and archival albums for the organization’s Blue Engine Records.
